Here at historic Hudson Springs we're making progress every day in our quest to rejuvenate this beautiful historic corner of Hudson, Florida.
Our Vacation Villas are engineered to meet Florida's stringent waterfront building codes, and in fact the concept for our Villas was born out of a necessity to meet current waterfront building codes. Many of our old mobile homes were over 30 years old and in such terrible condition as to be unliveable. With current building codes we are required to raise any replacement structure on stilts or a garage and rather than raise a collection of newer mobile homes on stilts, we've taken the concept to a new level and provided a liveability that is seldom seen in a mobile home park, while retaining all of the financial advantages and ease of park living.
Our Vacation Villas offer a spacious 40 by 14 foot poured-through-block garage that is stucco finished and painted to match the 14 by 40 foot MODULAR home that we place on top. Eight foot wide concrete patios surround two sides of the garage and on the second level, the modular home has raised, pressure treated wood decks surrounding two sides that are 8 feet wide and 62 feet long. The raised deck is accessed by stairs from the lower patio and the modular home features a main entry door in the living room and a secondary entry door in the bedroom. Large and numerous windows are placed to take advantage of the great views in the park and individual owners can customize the layout of windows and doors to suit their needs. We have Villas with as many as three sliding doors, providing panoramic views, great ventilation and easy acces to all parts of the huge second-story deck; and these upgrades are surprisingly inexpensive.
The garage features a 9' x 9' main roll-up door, two large windows and a large glass sliding door, as well as a standard entry door on the side, opening onto the lower patio.
Our modular homes are available in 2 floorplans with a number of options that you can customize,including: 9 foot ceilings, exterior colors, solid maple or white cabinets are standard, premium cabinets available, closet layout, dishwasher and washer/dryer connections, shower/tub options, lighting, flooring, bay windows, French doors, additional sliding doors, phone/cable connections, ceiling fans, and many more! Upgrades are not expensive and our standard Villa is turn-key and very well designed.
