Tribird in the News
Hi everyone, I know you've all been awaiting an update, which I have been slow to supply due to computer troubles (lost both my laptops to hardware failures and a bunch of photos and info with them). I'm back up and running with a new desktop and plenty of backup! We've been working hard through the hot season here and I have some new photos to show you below with captions. General park progress is steady, if a bit slower this time of year due to the heat, and we are still tackling infrastructure improvements like upgrading the wiring in our apartment building so that we can energize the new underground electric in that half of the park. We have made some excellent improvements in our decks and are even offering modular porch roofs and screen rooms for shade and fully insulated (air and heat) Florida rooms to give residents an option for increasing their heated and cooled square foorage. We are outfitting Mike Graham's villa with a large roof over the entire upper deck and you'll see photos of the railing/support structure from a distance.

I've also included some recent photos of our sunsets and cloud formations for those of you who are unfamiliar with Gulf Coast weather this time of year.

Enjoy the photos!

Our latest villa! Just kidding - I thought a reminder of the old park, which is nearly gone, would be a good place to start! Look at the park today and it's hard to remember just how run down things were and how much has changed.

Here's the Weber's Villa in place and being finished up.

Two views of the Boelkes villa with deck now installed and an alternate trim scheme with accent shutters.

This stack of modular home trailers is ready to go back to the factory with the next driver. The old pinky peach trailer in the background has been demolished further since this photo was taken.

The Weber's view is awesome, and this is only a small slice of it! Across the Spring is Mike Graham'svilla with the deck roof support structure in place. I'll get you all some closer photos of that structure, which now has ballisters and a railing.

We've added some water toys for the enjoyment of park residents and their guests in the form of two, four- seat peddle boats, one with an auxilliary electric motor you can turn on when you get tired of peddling.

This is the side deck view from the Weber's new Villa; that's Hudson Creek in the near distance, winding toward the Gulf of Mexico .

These sky photos are all taken from my backyard, not far from the park. When the sky gets interesting, which is often, I usually grab my camera. Florida may be flat but the spectacle in the sky makes up for it!

Till next time :)
